The cake? It’s a fruit cake flavoured with lemon, almond and vanilla, also nutmeg and molasses! It’s mostly wholemeal flour with some fine sponge flour to give it some lightness…..it’s just out of the oven and tastes nice, a bit crumbly, should be OK when it cools and the butter sets. 🙂
Yes. We saw bluebells in Kew Gardens by chance. It was a funny story I will write later. I did not see bluebells in Hyde Park. Hm…. the cake sounds yummy, I would like to try 🙂
Yes, Kew Gardens, they have some amazing stuff there….I’ve just taken a cake crumb off my keyboard 🙂 The cake has 5 ounces of Anchor butter in it 😛 Definitely high-energy food!
